The very least you could put a great effort into this "Game". The whole point and click tour thing was pretty much understandable, though not in a way were you click at an arrow that leads you into confusion as it shows off a different view. Not to mention the whole going inside that space techie kind of room, that plays a start loud eerie kind of music. Some of the volume from the music/sounds played within this questionable game, is too far off.

All I could see is a print screen of your work within "sketchup". Not even somewhat a single kind of video can be seen going through the house, or even the slightest point of rendering itself can be seen. The design itself for those 3D models you made in sketchp is quite alright, to be frank. But on this website, this is just RAW. Just place what you made in some Social Media websites, just on this kind of website without the elements of a real game. Especially that you couldn't make the very least of a browser game that is.

Out of all the idle game genre I've played through flash games, mobile games, etc. This is one of the most interesting one! At this stage of the game, right now is alright. The game has potential, especially with this kind of concept. Sadly there would no longer have any updates, as it's said on the description.

The only sad thing about this, is that it's really that short, excluding the reset button. A total of 7 kinds of stages only, seemed a bit too short. That you'd only have to achieve solely like a power gaming kind of play. Some items are already quite useless for the Soulbound combinations. Not to mention how ridiculously high it cost to combining items with a range type of weapons, most probably the cost of increasing the range. Made me abandon that kind of weapon and create a much more better one.

But despite that, the game really is enjoying. Already had my 10th reset, and 1 full reset (data reset) just to play the whole game again. Hopefully It'll be all covered up, through the many updates yet to come. That is if the creator of the game is willing to continue about it or at least make a better sequel of it :)

>After 2 times of finishing the game within hours, I find the game quite great actually!

>At first I tried to start an accurate way to play the game. Practicing some techniques out, and I notice while progressing the game. The developer of the game (DamianSchloter) made a pattern of how you achieve those bonuses, in a easier way. Once you achieve and understand the basics of the game.

> Sadly I missed only 1 "Bonus" (last part, nearest from the enemy) in the end of the epilogue. It made me curious if there was an secret ending... Then it started to question my curiosity about it.. Until I finished the whole game again. It was worth the challenge. Yet somehow I felt disappointed, there was no secret ending though.. :(

> The music was deserving! Although sadly, the whole idea of repeating the same music over and over again doing a tough challenge, isn't such a good idea.. As do for most people, it would surely make them feel annoyed. Even though classical music is one of my favorites, I too feel a bit annoyed.. Not much, but still a bit though. For a challenging game of course.
And yes it suits the game with this music, yet as I said, with only one music for a challenging game isn't great.. Although I still find it entertaining, playing the music within during my review for this game.

> The art was totally great! It even quite fits of the game, same time the theme of it. Quite simple of how you made it actually, yet the big thing is.. You got the right art for it!

> The gameplay was almost a little bit perfect! The only thing sad is for those glitches. But other than that, it still didn't ruined much of the gameplay though. With a little bit of multi-tasking, accuracy and timing.. It becomes more of a challenging game, in achieving something that's worth while.

Thank you very much for your review. I'm sorry there is no secret ending, I just never thought of that. Watching and reading about how people play the game and what they expect from it is very informative though. I'll take all of these different perspectives into account for future projects.

Your point about the music is also valid. I have now swapped it for a longer version (the second movement in its entirety). People have been spending a lot more time on the levels and the game as a whole than I had expected.
I have also fixed a couple of bugs but the one where your body distorts after resetting is as good as it gets I'm afraid.

Also, 6105 is a pretty good score!

--Stolen Idea of the Game, without acknowledgement
=>The game was great, for a stolen idea of the game.. I would've rated this a higher score, if at least you should've acknowledge the game of "Phage Wars" for the idea you've gotten it from. I appreciate game developers, animators, etc.. But simply without any acknowledgement from were you got the idea.. Seemed like a rip off..

--Bad AI in these type of game
=> I've played a lot these kind of games. But this.. It's easy to predict what will the AI target first. Most of the time, when there's the least virus you have in a single organism.

--Leveling your Virus
=> If you've made a mistake in choosing an upgrade for the virus. There's no "undo" button, or even a "reset" button. Surely that's quite important, especially in level completion leveling..

--Not much of a challenge, Weaker enemies
=> Due to the unbalance leveling for your virus. When you reached the max strength.. It's easy to capture any of your enemy.. As if your enemy didn't leveled up his virus, yes? It seemed while I was playing, the enemy is obviously weaker compared to me in the long-run.

-----Walkthrought? (Walkthrough)
=> Well obviously you quite misspelled it.
=> On this day of April 20 2014, there were still no update on that walkthrough. Still on "Coming Soon"

=> Don't you think making a walkthrough for this kind of game, is kinda useless? The whole game depends on what your virus evolves into (upgrades).
-->Through progressing the game, even without any of those upgrades. You can still manage to win the game due to poor AI capabilities.. If AI are that poor. Meaning making a walkthrough of this game seemed pretty useless to me. Randomly attacking to any small organism.

P.S. I suggest at least acknowledge "Phage Wars" due to it's very strong similarities of this game. It'll just make you look like a thief if you don't.

But of course, there are some flaws as well.. Nevertheless.. The game seemed to be pretty enjoying, I suggest other tower defense players to actually try this.

Even though the song "Native Faith" created by megabobi is already gone in Newgrounds. You still manage to acknowledge him. I was hoping you could still acknowledge the original song, but that doesn't matter much.

===Major Flaws & Errors===

1.) Progressing through the game becomes a bore
> Like somehow, the more you progress in finishing other levels. Somehow it comes to an end, that it keeps becoming a bore in the end.
> Is it because the number of towers are limited? Or perhaps the limited space of the area is too small? Is the range of towers that small and limited, while it feels like all of the range of towers are the same? Or am I just being paranoid? (which is a joke). The problem with the game is....
> It's something like this.. When you make a tower defense, be sure to improve greatly the game play even with bad graphics. Rather than have a game with ultimate graphics but has a rather rubbish game play.

2.) Missing uniqueness of towers
> When it comes to a tower defense. The kinds and appeal of a tower makes the game interesting. Yet the towers seemed to be like basic kind of towers in this game..
> A first basic cheap tower, tower that shoots and pass through enemies, a laser like tower and long range kind of tower. There's not much of a different kind of tower that seemed to be appealing, don't you think?

3.) Lagging destroys the arrangement waves of enemies & winning
> Since there are a lot of enemies spawning, special effects, projectiles appearing.. The game tends to lag, even in low quality (well for my laptop). But if you were to make a game like this, and have an option of a low quality. Be sure to make it a true low quality that could lessen those effects.. And because of this....
> After the song is finished playing, even if you haven't manage to defeat all of the enemies at that time. The game will proceed to end. Which affects on your chances of winning via default, and your high score.

===Minor Flaws & Errors===

1.) Too much special effects even in low quality
> Nothing much to say about this one. Well perhaps you could at least make it a real low quality for once, especially for those people who can't play this in a normal rate (including me with my laptop).

2.) Annoying Lose, couldn't even directly restart the song
> First of all, I have to admit the game is quite a bit hard even with my years of experience in different tower defense games. But the fact after you lose to a song, you have to go to the main menu in order to re-beat it again? Well that's annoying, especially when it comes to losing.

I've played a lot of tower defense games, from Warcraft III and Starcraft II custom maps to flash games, indi games, etc.. But this is one of the most unique flash games I've played so far!
Keep up the good work, and please keep on polishing your game till it's almost perfect :)

The part where spikes are seen on the ceiling, while you have a minimum space to jump across to the other timer block. Most of the times I died there, cause the fact that it just suddenly jump of a height to reach the spikes in the ceiling.
---> Now please do understand that.. Providing a challenge to the player to play this game seems fair enough, but the fact that it's inevitable to die in that kind of part no matter how you perfected it. It always leads to annoyance after that, rather than a good challenge.
> The sprite animation of that crippled guy, made him actually looked like a legless guy. Which is legless is different from crippled.. You should at least change it, and give it a leg for once since it's crippled after all and not legless.

> Why is it a 4 star and not 5 or less? Because the game isn't well polished, at the same time of the unfair annoyance of Spastic that provides an inevitable death no matter how good you are. And of course, the pathing of those places. I can just easily skipped 4 levels in the end without a sweat. Making it also a downside of the game. No wonder some people manage to win this game easily.

===IMPORTANT===

> After finishing 2 disablers (Spastic, Nearly Blind), I've remembered something accidental that manage me to easily win in the end.. The fact that the pathing of the map isn't well placed and fixed, I manage to pass 4 levels until the end easily without dying. Please do fix this glitch, as people might find this abusive.

But in the end.. The game is actually good ;) out of my experience of playing platform games for 10 yrs playing flash games, ps1, snes, etc. This is quite actually good. That is, if you can truly understand the game.

@Complement (What I like):
*I understand there are a lot of glitches and fixes you all need to do, because this is still new. I like how the game works, killing each other both opposite teams.
*Cutting or disabling there limbs so they can't attack nor run into you. Different shops with random weapons and armor regenerates, different arenas to fight in and not to mention the slave market haha :))
@Comment (Things that I don't like much):
*Music*
- Yes the music. It's not Roman enough. Even when the battle starts, I really don't like the music. Well when your out of the battle, the music is a bit ok.
*Stats*
- The stats are really bad. Just imagine. If you like mostly put the stat Vitality, it's kinda unbalance don't you think? Vitality will like just gain you a bit of your health, and your enemy's attack hurts much when your already 20+. There damage are like more than 180+ so it's kinda a bit pretty useless. And if you increase your vitality much, you don't have enough other stats.
*Skills*
- The skills are still little, and some of them are useless. On the skill tree "Retariuss", the skill there called "Cure" is one of the less helpful that I could have not imagine. The cure, it's so little.
- MP cost are to high, and if you want to regain your MP, it's too fast.
- The skill called "Protect", why doesn't it always work when I even made that skill level 10? I use protect on one of my slaves (ally) the first attack my tanker blocked it, and second he didn't even blocked it. And the bad thing is, the MP cost is like 150 MP! seriously you need to fix that, if not then the skill tree called "Murmillo" will be useless.
- "Blood Rage" It sounds opposite, do you know what I mean? "Blood Rage" is better if the attacking player made the enemy (or attacked player) bleed or cuts it's limbs off, it increases your speed.
@Bugs and Glitches:
- One of the glitches I found that, when you have the skill called "Cure" and "Throw", it can help you to kill one of your allies. First, click the skill called "Cure" but don't use it on anyone. Then click the skill "Throw", that will automatically allow you to hit one of your allies. haha and it actually really works.
- After you pick what the emperor (or in charge of the game) decides if the loosing contestant dies or lives, nothing will happen.
- I already connect my Sands of the Coliseum account to Facebook, then the game says that I was disconnected. So I tried to reconnect it again to Facebook (so I could claim more rewards) and it works. After those days of claiming my rewards, I came back from the start of day 1 to claim my reward.. I still haven't reach day 3 rewards due to that error in connecting to my Facebook account. You need to fix this problem, seriously.
- I just continue playing the game, and then it sometimes disconnects gamersafe account. and no, it's not the problem of my net.
@Recommends:
*Music*
- Make the background music into more old ancient Roman Music, and not like a rock and roll fight music that it's not like Roman. Do you know the game "Shadow of Rome" in ps2? You really need to listen to one of those soundtracks, and if possible play it. It really can give you an idea in making better Roman musics for the game.
- Change the battle theme, it doesn't sounds like old ancient roman sounds to me.
*Change the whole skill tree*
- I think it's better if you would recreate the whole skill tree.
*Battles*
- It's better if you could fight other people than only Romans. Like Greek people, barbarians, other tribes from other countries like the Hiwatha, the Iroquois or the Spartans (which is really true)
- Different kinds of battle, like defeating captured lions, tigers, or huge mounted elephant from other tribes would be better :D

Great

The game is nicely done, even though the game its simple... I found some glitches, like there's no boundary line, and I only encounter only 3 boss only.. You should fix the weapons I've noticed that the weapons are only getting bigger and I think it didn't get stronger and the strongest of all the weapons is the Laser Lance..
@_@ I never thought I would be 1st place in Mochi Games for now.. (Sorry for the wrong grammar and the spelling I'm not good at it..)

Glad you liked it. The weapons do actually get stronger, but so do the enemies, so it might be hard to notice.
